We are considering Folly Beach for Spring Break this April. We have a 14 year old son. He doesn%26#39;t really want to ';do'; a whole lot, but relax on/at the beach/pool and enjoy the sun. Question: I have seen this area classified as good for ';families with children';, but what about teenagers? Any thoughts on other areas around Charleston that may be more appropriate for that age? Thanks!
Folly Beach - with teenage son
Our extended family, including teenagers ages 13, 15, 16, has stayed for several years on Folly. All you, or someone in your family, has to do is start flying a kite, throwing a football, or playing volleyball and someone his age is sure to turn up. Our grandkids met many others their ages in these ways and had good times.
