Familiy of 6 need accomandation june 24 for 7 days

First time in USA, first time in SC and first time at Myrtle Beach.

We are a familiy 4 adults, one five years old boy and one teenager.

First of all, I do not know whats the best, North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach? Anyone knows what the best for us? After several days of browsing the net, I guess the North Myrtle Beach is the best for families with childs.

We love accomandation where we are at ground floor, close to children pool and beach. 2 or 3 bedrooms. Full kitchen. Free parking. Close to some nearbye restaurants and shops. Anyone can tip me for some adresses where to book?

Thanks in advance for any tip and ideas we get.

Best Regards

from Norway.

Call Ocean Resorts Management Company. Toll free no. 1 800 334 5016. or 843-249-3457. They are very helpful there. Ask about Tighlman Beach %26amp; Raquet club, 3 bed/3 bath units in low rise buildings on the ocean, and walking distance to restaurants. Ocean resorts also manages hi-rise condos at the newer hi-rise Avista next door, but I think you will be happier with an ocean front Tighlman unit. Enjoy!

Ashworth would work well.

So many to choose from and recommend. Avista would be within walking distance to couple shops and places to eat.

Springs Towers in Cherry Grove has nice three bedroom units. One block walk to several places to eat and shop. Grocery store plus bike rentals.But.... construction next door. Can%26#39;t promise how noisy it may or may not be.

No matter where you stay, most meals will require short 5-10 minute drive to maybe 30 minutes depending on where you decide to go.

The entire Grand Strand area is approx 50=60 miles long.Lots to do. Scattered all around. Drive times not as bad as you might expect.

Down towards bottom of site is web cam that you can control. Can get good view of pools and beach. Even if you don%26#39;t stay there it%26#39;s fun to stand on beach and call family at home and wave.

FYI - if you find the Avista and the Ashworth on myrtlebeachskytour, you will see Tighlman Beach and Racquet Club in between the two, it is the group of darker colored low-rise buildings which are situated several yards closer to the Shoreline than the neighboring high-rises. Each has a screened in porch/balcony off the main living area, and an open balcony off the master bedroom area. No matter where you choose to stay, it is a good location on the beach.

enjoy your trip!

For North Myrtle, check Elliott Realty. You%26#39;d be more comfortable in a 3 bedroom, but 2 would work as most have pull out beds or futons. When browsing 2nd row is across the street from the beach...many have ocean views or channel/inlet in Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle. Your biggest challenge may be the check-in date. June 24 is a Tuesday and most summer rentals are either Sat. or Sun. check in.

Last summer was our first visit to Myrtle beach. My husband and I with our 12yr old daughter and her friend. First, let me say, it was wonderful. Our time there was too short and we have booked again for this summer for a longer stay. We stayed at the Dunes Village Resort in Myrtle Beach. It is not ';in'; North Myrtle Beach but it is at the North end. Dunes Village was GREAT!! Go to their web site and check it out. We have already booked 8 nights at the Dunes again for end of June. Good Luck
