Hi, I just booked a room at the Hampton Inn, Historic District, on Meeting Street. Is this a good central location, and how is this hampton inn? Thank you.

It is very close to the Visitors Center and many great restaurants but it will be a few blocks to walk down to where many of the things you will want to see/do. There is some great shopping on King Street (the next street over) between you and the area you will spend much of your time.

Thank you. We will be arriving in the late afternoon, and will only be spending one night,, so I%26#39;m glad it%26#39;s near some nice restaurants. We%26#39;ll have to take a nice walk to see things, to work off our food.
