Airports closest to Fripp Island

We will be going to Fripp Island for a week in July, and need to book our flight. We are leaving from NY (any airport), and I would like to know which is the best airport to fly into?

Savannah, GA would be easiest. HHI has an airport, but I don%26#39;t know about regular flights and SAV is about the same.

Yup, SAV is the closest. Don%26#39;t overlook flying into Charleston, Columbia, even Jacksonville, FL. It is amazing what airfares are running these days.
