This is a last minute trip for us, and I don%26#39;t have the time to fully research like I usually do for trips! :-)

Is dinner atire casual, as in, nice shorts (weather permitting) and golf shirt, or are slacks the ';norm';? Thanks!

dress code.....

Much of it depends on where you dine...overall, Charleston visitors seem to be more ';dressed up'; than visitors in other cities. Charleston business people have generally not embraced the ';business casual'; trend you%26#39;ll find in many other cities, so when you go to restaurants - even for lunch -you%26#39;ll often see suits. Whatever you wear you%26#39;ll be able to find a restaurant match.

Thank you for the response. I should have added that we are staying at the Mills House this weekend and we will probably be dining at 84 Queen on Saturday evening......sounds like shorts are not appropriate. Thank you!
