Experience with Resort Rentals of Hilton Head

Has anyone had any experience with the property management company Resort Rentals of Hilton Head? (Internet site hhivacations.com)

Experience with Resort Rentals of Hilton Head

Yes, they%26#39;re one of the largest and best on the island. Rent with confidence.

Experience with Resort Rentals of Hilton Head

Have been going to HH for twenty some years and always rent with Resort Quest. Found them to be very good!

Resort Rentals was formerly called Lancaster Rentals. As Lancaster they had a reputation that the units were not clean.

a new owner took over and bought two other rental companies.

In looking at their website, I am some what dismayed by what I perceive to be hyperbole. As I%26#39;ve stated before, I serve on the board of a Condo regime. They show a number of units available in that complex. What concerns me is that they label those units that are on the top floor as ';Penthouses';.

We do have six real penthouses in the complex. They are 4 and 5 bedroom units which are duplexes. The apartments are entered on the fourth floor and have private staircases to the fifth. Each of them has large walkout balconies, Floor to ceiling windows, and other amenities that are not available in the 2BR 2BTH units.

Resort Rentals does not offer any of these in their inventory. They have several top floor units which they falsely label as penthouses.

Thanks hhiguy. We ended up renting with islandgetaway.com

That will work as well. I%26#39;ve owned villas and rented through both Resort Rentals and ResortQuest. Both are fine, as are Island Getaway and Sea Pines Rentals. These are the four largest vacation rental companies on the island.

I was an owner who listed vacation rental property with Resort Rentals and we discovered they skimmed money off the top. We confronted them about it and never got any reasonable response to account for ';missing'; money. Given this, we terminated our contract with them. We now rent privately through VRBO and Homeaway. If you are looking to rent, any island company is fine, although you%26#39;ll get better prices if you rent directly from the owner. If you%26#39;re an owner, stay away from Resort Rentals.
