condo help!

Hi! I%26#39;ve been to vrbo.com - there are so many choices I have no idea how to sort them out! Can anybody give me a little direction? We don%26#39;t need super-fancy, but I don%26#39;t want to end up in a dump, either! We are a family of four with two teenagers; we%26#39;d prefer oceanfront. Thank you so much for any advice!

Are you wanting to rent through a private owner or directly through the resort hotel?

A lot of these places serve as resort hotels as well where you can just book directly through the hotel. And some of the resort hotels have the same ammenities and more.

You didn%26#39;t mention the time you were coming nor how much you wanted to spend. But check out these places:

A lot of people like to rent from owners, and even get an aquaintance started that may last for years if you like to go to the same area for vacations year after year. When using an owner rental site, ask for references to be able to confirm what you will be getting. I usually ask guests if they would mind potential renters calling and asking for an honest appraisal. If they say no, of course I do not give out thier name. Also ask for current photos which can be attached to emails easily.

To sort, I would suggest first decide if you want MB, North MB, Surfside, etc.

After you narrow it down that way, use the sort by

';number of bedrooms';. It groups the 2, 3, 4, bedrooms together.

Finally, if only interested in oceanfront, don%26#39;t waste time looking at ocean view, etc. If it is oceanfront it will state that in the main description line.

There are so many properties to choose from you%26#39;ve got to narrow it down %26amp; go from there.

Thanks for all the tips and links. How would I decide which section of MB is best? We plan to come in mid-July. We like some activity but we also like some peace and quiet! We enjoy water parks and I%26#39;ve noticed some resorts have mini-water parks built in. They probably attract the most small children though. It would be great if we were in a place where our teens could walk to various attractions. We need to keep the total rental around 2K or less.
