Bus Route #30 goes past here and on to the Visitor%26#39;s Center in Charleston - actually perhaps it goes all the way to Broad St (someone from this board will know). Last I checked it was $1.25 per ride and about .60 if you%26#39;re 55 or older with ID. Check www.ridecarta.com

Rent a car, and you will be fine.
Town and Country is on Rte 17, a busy commercialized highway, near the junction with I-526, for quick access to the airport.
The hotel is close to lots of suburban conveniences, the big Citadel Mall, Bessinger%26#39;s Barbecue, and a few other restaurants. However, hothing will be particularly convenient for you unless you have a rental car.
You definitely should not try to walk along Rte 17 - the shoulder is in constant use by trucks and cars trying to merge, and their are no pedestrian walkways.
