Prestigious Palmetto Pig Pick'n Mar 7 and 8

Folks, if you want to enjoy the best Barbecue you%26#39;ve ever tasted, and have a wonderful day out in the sun, you have to go to this year%26#39;s Pig Pick%26#39;n at the Ladson Fairgrounds.

This year will be the first time a Kansas City Barbecue Society division will be judged, and there will be scores more cooking teams at the event. These will be in addition to the Lowcountry Division, which is like it%26#39;s been done for years.

Don%26#39;t forget that Friday night is the spectacular ';Anything Butt'; contest, where the cook teams are allowed to submit anything they want to create, so long as it isn%26#39;t pork. Talk about some Good Eats! Sorry, Alton ;-)

As always, the proceeds will go to the Olde Charlestowne Sertoma Club, and they do a wonderful service by donating to various charities.

Please come out and support this fun and worthwhile event!

Floski...long time no see! I think my dad is competing in this one...he competes in several in the area so I%26#39;m sure we%26#39;ll be out there for some good food. If only it wasn%26#39;t during Lent, as those Friday night ';anything butt'; has so very good eats!!

yuuuuuum!

The Sertoma Club does a lot of good work. Thanks!

Folks,

one last reminder of the Pig Pick%26#39;n this weekend.

Tomorrow at 7, they have the Anything Butt contest, along with a Chili contest. Much wonderful fun to be had! $5 to enter the park, and $10 to get into the Contests.

Saturday will be all pork, all day!

This is for charity, so please join me in a prayer for good weather, as the TV weathercasters are saying otherwise.
