Kid Friendly Restaurants in Surfside Area?

My family (hubby, 14 girl, 10 girl, and 4 boy) will be in MB the week before Labor Day. Can anyone recommend any restaurants in the Surfside Area, which have good food and kid appropriate? Thanks ahead.

For all you can eat crab legs we always go to crabby mikes. For BBQ, ribs, and chicken we always go to JD%26#39;s(or DJ%26#39;s) Pig and Chicken, the wings were good at the Wild Wings there which now has a different name. These are the places that we liked in the Surfside area.

Seafare Restaurant in Surfside. Good buffet. The kids will probably love the whole pirate theme with everyone dressed as pirates and a lagoon with live mermaids.

River City cafe on the oceanfront in Surfside. Casual food, inexpensive, great view, very kid friendly.

El Patio. Best Mexican place hands down.

Ultimate California Pizza..always good

In Surfside go to Fat Jacks, Southside Grill, ans Antipasta%26#39;s. Jennys and the Village Cafe are good for breakfast and lunch. (Not open for dinner)

Nibils (Surfside Pier Restaurant, open breakfast too),River City, and Conch Cafe in Garden City are ocean front and open lunch, dinnner. Reasonable prices.

Pig N Chicken closed down. It is now Mac%26#39;s Pizza Buffet.( Haven%26#39;t tried yet).

El Cerro Grande at Walmart in Surfside is good. So is Dough Boys.

I%26#39;m a cheap local so I look at the specials and the menu prices before I go.

Prossers in Murrells Inlet is local place. Open Breakfast and lunch daily. Also, Dinner Thurs - Sat.

Same buffet at dinner that is at lunch but they add fish, shrimp, and oysters. Before 6pm is cheaper.

You will see children at any of these places at anytime.

The only one Cutig didn%26#39;t mention that we like, is Bubba%26#39;s Fish Shack across from the Surfside Pier.

Note to Cutig - Shhhh don%26#39;t tell anyone else about Nibil%26#39;s, it might get too crowded. : )

Dagwoods is a neat place. (next to the bowling ally) (Non-Smoking, too!!) They have individual TV%26#39;s at the booths, golf and bowling games, and a friendly staff. They are kind of a %26#39;bar like%26#39; atmosphere. But still, child friendly.

Huge custom sandwiches, nachos, and a small kids menu.

Any one else have anything to say about Seafare buffet? If you cannot recommend Seafare, what is the closest seafood buffet to Surfside that you can recommend?

Crabby Mikes is another buffet right down from Seafare...I have not eaten here though.

Has anyone eaten at Crabby Mikes close to Surfside?
