Best Time to Visit

We may have the chance of a home exchange here and wondered when is the best time to go outside of school holidays - like weather in the 70%26#39;s.

I%26#39;d shoot for Sept/Oct. Weather still nice. Kids back in school. Water temps still warm from summer.

Negatives would be one Bike Week in Oct.(not that bad) Plus there is chance of tropical storm or hurri#@%%26amp;.

Running close second would be April/May. Weather is good but water hasn%26#39;t been warmed by summer sun yet. Could be a bit more crowded than fall trip. Spring break weeks for kids fall around that time. You would see more kids and families during spring trip. Plus you have two Bike Weeks to work around in May.

Totally agree with previous posters. Going in May for the 5th time, also have been in Sept./Oct a couple of times. Both seasons have had great weather.Both seasons weather is usually high 70%26#39;s low 80%26#39;s. Perfect

Late Oct has been great for us...warm weather 80 and less taffic on the roads and golf courses

According to published numbers, the avearge high temp then is mid to high 50s. Wont see many 70 degree days then. That doesnt stop us, we alwsys spend Christmas till New Years at M.B. Love the beach, but there are other things to do too.

We also love to go in September, after the week of Labor Day. The rates drop, the crowds are less, and the weather is usually very nice, may need a light jacket at night, but not usually. The ocean is still warm enough to swim.
