Traveling From Colombia

Hi im a 28 y/o Colombian, and im going to expend some days with some members of my family at hilton head island. we are going to stay from 28th DEC 2008 to 4th JAN 2009, what you guys recommned me to do those days. Where to go, surrounding areas to go by car that i should get. Any good ideas for new years???

Im going to rent a car, so no problem to go any where!!!.

I dont know much about that zone of the USA, except for SAvanna, that some friends told me is a must see.

Thanks for your tips.

Traveling From Colombia

Savannah is a beautiful historic town, you will enjoy that. Also if you have the time, a trip to Charleston SC would be well worth it. Charleston is one of the oldest cities on the east coast and has a lot of history, food and shopping. The ocean water temps that time of year will probably be to cold to swim, but it is not uncommon to have a warm day where you can spend time on the beach. Hilton Head is a leisure destination, tennis, golf, and some shopping. If you are looking for more spend some time in charleston first and the savannah! Have a great trip

check out native guide tours in bluffton sc, it%26#39;s fantastic!

Thank you guys for your tips. By the way, any suggestion for new years, something you know will be great to do?

Another question, what about going to Atlanta?, what do you think?

The trip to Atlanta would be a long one, 4hrs. Personally I do not think that that you will miss much if you dont visit Atlanta. They have a new aquarium, which is supposed to be one of the nicest in the world but that is all that I really know of. Im sure that you would find plenty to do since it is one of the largest cities in the southern states, but you will have just as much to do between Savannah and Charleston. Im sure that Charleston and Savannah will both have New Years festivities, including fireworks, music, and the usual bars throwing parties. Enjoy!

Thanks a lot, will study the option to go to Atlanta, then.

Abither Question,

You guys knos the best option to get to New York, is there any cheap way, like train, bus, and off course, Planes!!!

If New York has it%26#39;s ball dropping in Times Square on New Years Eve, Savannah has it%26#39;s peach. since Georgia is known as the peach state, a giant replica peach dropping to signify the New Year is Appropriate.

As far as the cheapest way to get to NYC.

Fly out of Jacksonville FL. Both Jet Blue and Southwest air fly to NYC from there at lower prices than any of the others. It%26#39;s a two and half hour road trip from Hilton Head.
