I am going crazy !!

There are so many hotels and condos to consider I am going crazy with all of the information. I think I have found something and it is either way too expensive or has horrible reviews.

I am looking for something on the south end of myrtle beach big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 4 children. The children range in age from 4 up to 12 years old. I would like to stay in the $1000. - $1200 range for 1 week May 4 - 11.

Any suggestions or advice would be really appreciated.

I have already checked out the Grand Atlantic which looks wonderful but is a little pricey. Thanks in advance

I admit up front that I am biased because I own units at this property. We love The Myrtle Beach Resort. Go to the ';hotels and accommodations'; listing at the side of this site and scroll down to the MB Resort listing, I think it is around 56-57 on the list of over 200 hotels, and read the many travel reports by customers. Dont read just a few, read many of them. Most people seem to either LOVE it, or HATE it, not much middle ground. I think it depends on expectations going in.

we just made a reservation at dunes village resort (#3 out of 214 myrtle beach resorts on trip advisor and great vacationer%26#39;s pictures) The pricing on the web site was pricey, but i called and they where running a special now, pay for 5 nites and stay 7 nites. We have a bedroom with 2 queen beds and living room with couch that folds out and a double murphy bed, complete kitchen and it comes with washer and dryer... that is always a plus...... all for just for 848.00 including taxes.... i suggest giving them a call, great indoor water park, tennis courts, basketball courts, air hockey, life size chest and checker set,etc...... my family with 12 yr and 8 yr are going 2nd week in april. Don%26#39;t forget part of may is biker weeks.

You have Grand Atlantic and Paradies Resort which are both a little over 1 year old. They have ppols but no game room. The new Holiday Sands at South Beach opened last July. They have a arcade and lazy eiver. We are staying here in two weeks. A popular one in this area for kid amenities is Compass Cove. They have a number of pools and a arcade. I think that the Pinicipal building is the nicest. All of these are no farther than 1 %26amp;1/2 miles down from where Ocean Bkvd begins.

I love Caribbean Resort and Villas. We go every year with two kids and get an oceanview suite in the Dominican. Not in the busy crowded area but close enough to everything!
