columbia restaurants

Will be in Columbia in 2 months for my sister%26#39;s graduation. My parents, grandparents, and 2 aunts will also be coming. Looking for some places to eat that have a variety of foods (9 people to please) and that are moderately priced or lower. No 5 star, gourmet food needed.

I am staying at the Embassy Suites...rest of family at the new Hilton.

Rizz - You%26#39;ll be down in an area known as the Vista. Here%26#39;s a link - http://www.vistaontheriver.com/aboutus.htm

Lot%26#39;s of reataurants within walking distance of the Hilton - Ruth%26#39;s Chris for that special graduation dinner ($$$$) is in the Hilton; Damon%26#39;s is next door; Jillians, Carolina Wing%26#39;s, Wild Hare are sports bars with menus you%26#39;d expect there - not bad. Longhorn is a chain steakhouse. We especially like Blue Marlin for their she-crab soup (a SC low-country specialty) Liberty Tap Room has almost every beer made.... and a normally good menu; California Dreaming can be noisy, but can handle your group, and is not expensive. I suspect there may be reviews of these and other restaurants, but, it%26#39;ll give you some ideas. Biggest challenge is that the Vista is a night spot hot spot, and most places are pretty busy on weekends... enjoy your stay in Columbia!
