Dixie Stampede MB - Front Row Best Seats?

Going to Dixie Stampede...I%26#39;ve heard different things about sitting front row/center. (Have 2 6-9 yr kids, Mom%26amp;Dad, + 70yr in-laws).

Originally assumed that%26#39;s the place to be, but I%26#39;ve heard some complain its too close? (one worried about %26#39;dirt%26#39; being kicked up in their food??)

If I have a choice, what are your suggestions on best place to sit for the show? (Yes, I%26#39;ve heard ';not a bad seat in the house';, but what do you folks think who%26#39;ve been there?)

Thanks much all!!

Dixie Stampede MB - Front Row Best Seats?

We%26#39;ve been there and, truly, there%26#39;s not a bad seat in the house. Each row has advantages and disadvantages, but unless you have a serious vision problem you%26#39;ll be satisfied with any seat, I believe. We sat on the side in the middle row and were very happy.

I know that this may sound like bunk, but it%26#39;s really a credit to the quality of the show that the ';stadium'; is so well thought out. Don%26#39;t stress too much with this decision.

Dixie Stampede MB - Front Row Best Seats?

We have been over a dozen times. There is plexi glass that shields the action from the viewers. I have sat in the front row and never had a problem with dirt being kicked up.

Agree with previous poster, there is not a bad seat in the arena.

Sorry to doubt you, Lillious, but I don%26#39;t remember any plexiglass. Perhaps it%26#39;s only at the narrow end of the arena so when the horses do a quick turnaround the dirt doesn%26#39;t fly up??

In any case... Baileyk9, just go to YouTube and check out some Dixie Stampede videos if you want to see the layout for real. I didn%26#39;t see plexiglass in those videos, either.

Hey all...

appreciate your thoughts so far (and quick response - wanted to book it today!)

The youtube idea was great as well (wow, what%26#39;s NOT on youtube these days?)

we%26#39;ve been going to Myrtle forever and never did either of the dinner shows, and this time taking my in-laws, so wanted to ';optimize'; the experience ;-)

this is a great site (b/c of the people!)

Thanks for pointing that out ChubbyTraveler. You are right, the plexiglass is only in a certain area.

Great suggestion to check out YouTube!

I can tell you that Dixie Stampede is great family entertainment!
