Casino Boat

We are staying in MB and thinking about taking one of the Casino Boat cruises. Not big gamblers by any means but do play the slots (I know, I know poor choice, lol). Any comments? We would be going on a Saturday afternoon in May. Thanks for any comments.

Casino Boat

I%26#39;m not a big gambler (can%26#39;t afford to be one!) but I do enjoy the casino boats. There are 2 located in Little River, SC--about a 30 minute drive north of Myrtle Beach. Both of them have free shuttles that pick up passengers from hotels in the area, just call a day or 2 before to arrange to be picked up. Most of the grocery stores, convenience stores, Walmart, etc. in this area have a stand of free coupon books near the doors called ';Monster Coupon Books';; pick up a few of these as the casino boats always have coupons for some free play, buffets, etc. in them. It%26#39;s about an hour trip (3 miles out into international waters in the ocean) before you can actually start gambling, but it%26#39;s a very scenic route along the Intercoastal Waterway for the first 45 minutes, so bring your camera. You can take photos of the ships, from the decks, but not in the casinos themselves. You can gamble for 3 hrs., then it%26#39;s another hour ride back in. You can check out each ship at their websites--one is called Sun Cruz Casinos, and the other is called Diamond Girl. I do feel I need to tell you that Saturday is their busiest day, so please call and make reservations for one as soon as possible; if you want the shuttle pick up you can arrange for that at the same time. Good luck to you!

Thanks so much for all of this info, it is exactly what I was needing. I think we will go on Monday instead of Saturday to avoid a bit of the crowd so I appreciate that info along with the coupon hint as well.

Diamond Girl is no longer in business, there is another smaller ship there, under a different name, can%26#39;t remember what it is. Docked in same area where Diamond Girl use to be. The trip down the INTRAcoastal Waterway is pleasant, you will go out into the ocean 3 miles, gamble for while, then return. The ships are smoky, so if you do not like cigarette smoke, that might not be pleasurable for you.
