buses to historic sites in charleston from mt. pleasant

Yes to both - The Route 40 goes from Patriot%26#39;s Point and locations along Hwy 17 - right to the Visitor%26#39;s Center area in Charleston. www.ridecarta.com

If you%26#39;re a walker, the bridge is one of the top attractions for keeping up with fitness routines. It%26#39;s about 2 1/2 miles long and has dedicated lanes for walkers/joggers and for bikers. The Mt. P side has pretty convenient, safe parking - when you get across you will be on the edge of the ';projects'; - an area of 2-story high density apartments on one side (but don%26#39;t be thinking ';Newark';) and road construction and docks on the other. It%26#39;s only about 6 blocks of that and you%26#39;ll be past the construction/etc. and be close to the Aquarium, which is probably the official ';beginning'; of the tourist area. Get a good map (like the one on this forum under ';map'; to the left) and plan out your visit schedule and have a great time!
