BBQ Grills

Another question... are there rules about having grills on outdoor decks? I%26#39;ve noticed that a lot of villas do not list grills as part of their amenities. One of the reasons we are going to rent, is so that we an dine-in and that would be grilling in the summer.

Before I count out any villa without a grill, can you tell me if this is just not allowed?

Grills are not allowed on decks multi-family units: Pelican Watch, High Hammock, Atrium, etc. Grills are allowed by the POA on single stand alone homes/villas.

This is for safety reasons. (wooden decks and grills do not mix;-})

There are some rental companies that do not allow owners to leave grills out for guests (Resort Quest is one).

You%26#39;re best bet it to ask an owner if they have a grill. I keep a charcoal grill out. This summer I%26#39;m adding an electric grill that I just found at Lowe%26#39;s (I %26#39;m not patient enough to wait for the charcoals).
