2 Kiwi's visiting Charleston this Weekend
Wow - Charleston and Savannah in one weekend? I don%26#39;t even know where to begin.
Quick List: Carriage Ride, Walking tour, Historic Home and Garden tours, visit a plantation or two, go for a walk on your own in the residential district (south of Broad St).
Try ';Things to Do'; in the left margin of this page for ideas and links.
If you get a chance to tell us where you%26#39;re staying and for how many days we could help more. Cheers!

A short weekend in Charleston? If the weather is nice and you like to walk I would recommend seeing the usuals...
1/ The Battery, Rainbow Row, and then to the Waterfront Park. You can tour one of the houses on the Battery.
2/ St. Philiips Church - it%26#39;s right in the middle of town and you can%26#39;t miss it.
3/ Eat lunch at Hymans on Market St. - this is a Charleston landmark and is still one of my favorites. The she-crab soup is terrific!
4/ After Hymans - walk up to King St for some shopping. If you go past the stores you will see some amazing houses.
5/ Tour of the Rhett/ Aikens historical preserved house.
6/ Dinner at Magnolia%26#39;s on East Bay St. This is a ';can%26#39;t miss'; restaurant.
7/ Travel over the new Ravanel Bridge to Mt. Pleasant, thru%26#39; Sullivan%26#39;s Island, and then up to the Isle of Palms for some beach time.
8/ Another good beach is Folly%26#39;s beach just South and located on James Island. Folly has really cool funky Key West vibe to it. If there eat at Taco Boy for lunch.
